Bicycle tour to the airport

Fini the rat
This is my current flatemate. As Kathi and Martin went to Barcelone for the weekend, I’m taking care of Fini, a really sweet rat. She really enjoys beeing crawled thoroughly around her little head.

landing airplane Jörn showing the way
After learning for the last few exams, Jörn and I took our bicycles for a tour to the far end of the airport, where landing airplanes pass just a few meters above ones head. It’s pretty amazing to listen to the sounds the wingtip vortexes create in the air. On the way back we headed to a beergarden and had some great local food, Maultaschen with potatosalad. With a nice cold beer the perfect refreshment after a tour of about 30 kilometers.

So long (and thanks for all the fish 😉 ),
Tim.

Home Improvement

… not really …
It’s just that the chimney sweeper needs another door to the funnel, so he and a mason are coming around tomorrow morning to do the work.
To speed things up, I just moved everything out of their way, so they access the wall easily.
out of the way
The red rectangle is where they will break through the wall and insert the lid.
where they'll break through
I just hope this won’t create too much dirt, as I just mopped the floor and dedusted the shelves.

Cheers everyone,
Tim.

enjoying the autumn in Heslach

As the autumn is really nice and rather warm, Santa and I went for some short hikes around Heslach this weekend. The longer I live here and the more I see, the more I begin to love this part of Stuttgart.

sick in bed, dmn!

Since friday I’m suffering from a bad cold! Sneezing and coughing I’m laying in my bed. At least I got my Laptop with WLAN, so I can surf and chat from there. 😉
Using the time to read into Java, listen to radio plays (TKKF) and finally update my website.

*cough *sneeze
Tim.

the day without a name

Each year there’s one day, yet without a name.
The first day, you walk home as the sun is rising!

Let’s find a name for it, send in your creations!
Cheers! (to all the foreign beeings, roaming around Stuttgart this late!)
