I spent the days around christmas back home in Filderstadt with my family. As every year we had plenty of nice food and probably gained weight a bit.

Around new years eve a friend of mine from study times organised a skiing/boarding trip to Sölden in the Austrian Alps. With sunny but cold weather and a great choice nice slopes, we we could really enjoy the beauty of that region. Though a slight cold kept my from snowboarding for two days, I quite enjoyed those times as well, relaxing with a good book to read. (Kafka on the Shore by Haruki Murakami)

So far for now, I wish everyone a great year 2009!

I’m still busy with my new flat, but once that is done there will be a major post.

The Holidays are over!

After I spent the last few years in Germany without a car, I recently decided (with the push of my parents) to get me a used car. The decision which car to buy was rather easy, as I quite liked the Toyota Yaris which the ADAC (German Car Club) rated best in its class regarding runnig costs. (fuel consumption, maintenance, etc.) After just one week of browsing the offers I can now introduce you to Zaphod, sticking to my previous namespace, The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy.
